INGS-OPTION COLLABORATION
A In the middle of 2006, OPT Editing Group heard of INGS' development plan of their original wheel. Their new wheel debut was targeted for 2007 Tokyo Auto Salon, as INGS top priority project.
INGS had collaborated in the beginning of Stream Z Project for its participation in Silver State Classic Challenge, NV, USA. And thereafter, both companies have been collaborating in many occasions."
So, an OPT editor joked "It sounds great. Then, how about limited OPT Model?" The answer from Mr. Y. President surprised him. "Why not? It sounds great to me, too. Let's do it!" Such simple conversation decided this big project of INGS-OPTION WHEEL. (Do you know that it's a big money project to develop a new wheel?)
INGS decided to co-op with RAYS who is the world's top manufacturer of forged aluminum wheel and just announced to get into the development of F1 wheels. (RAYS is so famous for their unique and high-end technologies for forged wheels; 10000Ton Forging, RM8000, Molding Form Forged, and so on.)
The Goal is "TO CO-EXSIT ULTRA LIGHT WEIGHT & HIGH RIGIDITY" which is ideal for wheels, but the most difficult thing to make it happen.
OPTION Magazine continued to cover this project in 5 months continuously from 2006 Oct Issue, including readers' wheel design contest, and INGS staff spent whole these months to match the best design and the specs. with full assistance of RAYS's world's top technical analysis and simulations.
-The Result was "TS-06" - "A PERFECTION OF DESIGN AND SPECS." as you see here. Its naming: TS stands for "Touring Sport", and 06 means "6 spokes".-
No more limited OPTION version is available at this moment, but INGS TS-06 has increased its popularity as one of the best street/racing wheels from its introduction at Tokyo Auto Salon 2007, and will continue to expand its users in the performance market.
